- Quake Stomping Grounds
- Loads of stuff here! Home to one of the many "Clans."
They boast to have many expert players, but that's what they all say,

- Planet Quake
- Hmmm, an entire planet devoted to Quake? This site rivals that

- QuakeSpy
- Are you ready to take on the world? If you think you've got
what it takes, why not seek a challenge on the 'net?
QuakeSpy or QSpy will lookup available Quake servers, gauge the quality of
your connection and lists the best ones for play with the built-in TCP/IP
support of Quake.
A 28.8k baud or faster modem is recommended. Speed of play will vary
depending on the server, and dialup connections will be obviously
slower (unless you have direct connect or leased line)! QSpy is currently
only available for Win95, no DOS/Win3.x version for the near
future, nevermind Mac.

- id Software
- Here's where it all started! With Doom and it's sequels, not to
mention Wolf3D (remember that one??) to their name, Quake2 is their most
recent baby. Quake 3 coming soon, very soon. This time it's 3D for real!

- How d'ja get that title?
- id Software was kind enough to provide a font similiar to the
one found in the game, for the masses. It's a TrueType font for Win3.x and
quite likely compatible for Win95.
The file is a zipped archive, about 10KB in size: Quake Font
Newer font, also 10KB zipped: Quake 2!
[Back to main. Ok, it's a temporary page until I get
about starting on a better one.]
